How to tell you're on the correct Internet Banking web site.

It's easy to get fooled into clicking a link in an email regarding your online banking. Never click any links in any emails asking you to update or amend your banking portfolio as these links will lead you to fraudulent web site which will steal your information.

Always check the address bar of your browser to make sure you are on the correct web site. The address starts with https://

Check to see that the lock icon is displayed. (In different browsers the lock icon can either appear in the address bar OR in the bottom right hand corner of the browser)

Click on the lock icon and click "View Certificates"

Check that the certificate matches the address in your address bar.

IF EVER IN DOUBT .... do not proceed and rather contact your bank on their toll free number.
NEVER NEVER NEVER click on a link in an email to get to your banks Internet Banking Web Site. Your Bank will NEVER send you such emails.
