These lottery scam emails take on many forms and have been circulating for as long as the Internet has been around. Clearly these scammers find ways of staying in business and avoiding the authorities. DO NOT ever believe you won some lottery if you did not buy a ticket for a lottery. There is no such lottery in the world that simply picks people by random from their email addresses to award them huge sums of cash. By responding to these scammers you start a process of revealing your personal information which can be used for things like identity theft. DO NOT under ANY circumstances respond to or correspond with these SCUMBAGS !!!
Once you start corresponding with these scammers they will very cleverly through a process of emails get lots of your personal information and even get you to PAY THEM money as a "security deposit" before you receive your winnings. Your life will be turned upside down. There are NO winnings, you DID NOT win the lottery.
