Be aware of a new scam doing the rounds targetting Neotel customers. The message arrives as an MMS message saying your account was handed over to MacRobert Attorneys for collection on an outstanding amount. Neotel have confimed this is bogus. The scammers are so STUPID they even left off the branch code. We have informed Nedbank's Fraud division.

The MMS message reads as follows:

1/ Neotel handed your account (O/B - R928.32) to MacRobert Attorneys for collection.
