Dear reader, the ABSA security upgrade scams continue. This one received a mere 5 minutes ago. Remember that your bank will NEVER email you to do anything regarding your account. Your bank may only ever phone you and will first ask for verification before they will discuss your account. Do NOT ever click on the links in these emails as they take you to copy cat web sites which then steal your banking logon information.

Your Random Verification Number ( RVN ) and Transaction Verification Numver ( TVN ) Need to be reactivate due to our new our system servers. You are hereby advise to reactivate withing 24 hours of this notice to avoid temporary deactivation of your e-banking details. Follow the link below to beging the process . Please go to :https/important/service/update/absa.co.za (link points to: http://puestasol.com/includes/uls/occca/server.ii/important/notice/u-i/in.e-server.php) Note: All is for keeping you safe while using your internet banking.
